Today we start our journey for Leh stopping at Jispa for the night. You can arrive in Manali today in the morning. Trip will start around 9:30 AM. If you have enough time then you can be here one day before the trip start. this way you will be able to do the local sightseeing in Manali.
Leave for Leh by early morning, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Reach Pang for a heavenly lunch. After your Lunch, we drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Taglang La Pass 17,5856ft (2nd highest motorable road in the world) and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Leh check in at our Hotel. Enjoy your appetising dinner and get some rest for tomorrow.
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,380 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Hotel for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast in the morning. Thereafter, get ready for sightseeing in Nubra including Deskit Monastery- the largest and the oldest Buddhist monastery in Leh-Ladakh. From the top, indulge in wonderful views of the nature. Later start your road journey for the gorgeous Pangong Lake (14,500 feet) via River Shayok. As you arrive at the camp, check-in. Spend your evening at leisure. Treat your eyes with stunning sunset views while relaxing on the banks of the Lake. Overnight stay in camp with tasty dinner.
The distance between Leh to Pangong is 154 kms. It takes around 5 hours to visit Leh. After breakfast, drive back early in the morning to Leh taking the same route. On the way back visit Thiksey Monastery and Sindhu Ghaat. Arrive in Leh and relax at the hotel or free for recreational activities.
This is the last day of our wonderful trip. We will leave the hotel with packed breakfast in the early morning. As we have to cover a long distance over Manali-Leh highway. Explore the places en route which you have missed while travelling towards Leh. Reach Manali in the evening. Your trip will conclude at Manali.

However, our guide Akshay had planned out the safest tour and he was very safety conscious. It was an enjoyable 8-day trip and though there were some nerve-wracking road rides, most of the trip was awesome with few to no traffic.
